We have an excellent opportunity for a Programme Assistant to work within the Rule of Law Section of our Governance and Peace Directorate (GPD), which leads in the Secretariat’s work to promote the rule of law, separation of power, democratic values and good governance.

The Programme Assistant, under the supervision of the Legal Adviser, will assist the Programme Officer in the implementation and reporting of the Commonwealth Cyber Capability project. The project is intended to strengthen the capacity and resilience of member countries to respond to cyber threats and attacks.  

The successful candidate will have experience in project administration, as well as experience in financial and logistics management and reporting. You will also have experience in the field of international development assistance, including in grant management. Knowledge of cybercrime, cybersecurity and criminal justice issues will be an advantage.
