The Assistant Programmes Officer (Communications) role sit within the Youth Division (YTH) and is responsible for providing technical and administrative support for the YTH communication strategy.  This includes ensuring strong, dynamic and cutting edge communication about CYP’s work; as a component of YTH’s programme work; and in support of YTH’s programme and resource partnerships.  You will work under the supervision of the Head of Research & Policy, and in close collaboration with the Communications Adviser and Partnerships Manager, and with the rest of the YTH team.

To be considered for this role you must be a citizen of a Commonwealth country aged 27 years or younger at the time applications close, and possess a Bachelor degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, such as media, communications, journalism, social sciences or arts. You will have at least one year of demonstrated work experience in designing and delivering creative, cutting edge, impactful communications concepts and projects.  The experience may be gained through a combination of paid employment, volunteer, placement or internship positions. Strong knowledge of the latest technologies and the ability to leverage them for impactful communications is also a requirement.
